I have been requested by the council to replace the broken door on the gas meter cupboard that is outside the property.
Would this be my responsibility or the responsibility of the gas board~?

My flatmate and I received the keys to our flat on 4th October and we moved in gradually (bit by bit with the car) over the next three or four weeks and we actually started living there at the beginning of November.

My stepson was due to move into student accommodation in Sept 2011 but his father did not allow him as the landlord would not show them a current gas safety certificate. We later found out he did not have one until Feb 2012 (6...

Hi there,
Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it anywhere - in the flat we let we have an 8yr old gas combi boiler in the bedroom. We've just been told that regulations require this to be boxed in.

Gas Safety Certificate Gap at the beginning of tenancy - Please help
We are new as landlords and have had so many problems as a result of being naive! We let our house to Tenants without being aware of the need of Gas Safety Certificate. 3 months in the renting we realised our fault and got a Gas Safe Engineer to check the boiler. There is only a boiler in the house,...
