In my often bitter experience the rule of thumb is " does water leak all the time?" Yes, its a joint, no, its the seal round the bath. Showers over a plastic bath.......😞

Lots. They're know as heat only type. Not a combination obviously so need a hot water cylinder. Pumping 4 storeys is fine but if it works now, it will work then. Too many variables to be honest, but whoever does it you must get a warranty....

Interesting. In my 50 years of heating installation, I have never done a boiler change without changing the pump. The expectation of the system working correctly without a new pump is not realistic. Domestic pumps, actually glandless accelerators, are around £130 so not worth questioning tbh. I suspect...
