  • I’d even say from 00:00am. The tenancy starts at the beginning of the day stated in the tenancy agreement unless explicitly stated differently....

If the tenancy started on 10 June, does this mean the earliest termination date of the tenancy under the break clause would be 9 December (i.e. which is the end date of the first six months of the tenancy) or 10 December (the first day after the end of the tenancy)?...

My question is more if the LL serves notice under the break clause to terminate the agreement and the tenant agrees (either explicitly or implicitly), then no SPT arises at all? Or would the SPT automatically arise once the AST is terminated under the LL's break clause notice and would the tenant...

So e.g. one party could give for whatever reason 2 months notice whilst the other party then decides he wants to leave/regain the flat earlier and gives 1 notice in return. In this case I assume both notices would be valid but the tenancy would just terminate per...

    Break clause question

Odd question here! If there’s a break clause in the tenancy agreement which requires a party to give minimum 1 month notice to terminate the tenancy (a right both tenant and landlord have), what happens if both parties simultaneously send a valid notice per the break clause? Would both notices then...
