Just to reassure you artful yes I have done the NRLA landlords fundamentals recently and I am accredited on their scheme. I’m posting here because up to now I’ve never had to travel the painful road of re gaining possession and there are a myriad of legal routes, or so it appears to me....

Does being evicted result in CCJ/ any kind of record?
I have a tenant who has been making demands ever since moving in, which I acquiesced to in the beginning, wanting to be a good landlord. I’m having similar with a current tenant, real Princess and the Pea stuff. I’ve had to grow a backbone and say no and in the nicest way, if this isn’t the property for you then why not move out before the 1st year is up, no hard feelings. I’m sure she’ll be back with more wish fulfilment...

Thanks for all these ideas. Still looking around for a resource that would enable me to look at a property and assess whether it was basically sound albeit requiring a lot of work, or conversely whether it was a right off due to fundamental structural issues which would be cripplingly expensive to rectify....
