Stamp Duty On A Lease Extension Of A Buy to Let Property?

Do I have to pay stamp duty on a buy to let property that I have owned for 30 years when I'm extending the lease? The property is rented out. Is there a calculator for this? I understood that SDLT is only applicable if the extension price is over £125,000. My extension price is no where near that! Thanks.

Is the extension price above £ 40,000 ?
    It may apply 3%.
I am only guessing so after introduction of the added 3% stamp duty on BTL.
I hope that some other Forumer will clarify, mine is only a "guess".

The website below suggests if the cost of lease extension is over £40K, you will be required to pay SDLT at 3% on difference between the cost paid and £40K.

My interpretation is that 3% would apply fully on the amount > £40K.
Hence £60K cost of lease, would have £1.8K SDLT.
