Loft insulation?

Is loft insulation classed as a Tax expense.

One of my houses is empty and there is very little insulation in the loft.

Seems like the perfect time to put some in as its so cheap at the moment.

Surely an invoice would be more helpful...

It's rather obvious that you have the invoices, of course you keep the invoices whether you have it done or do it your self but recording the evidence is so simple and clarifies any potential question from HMRC. Peter
