What's your favourite album at the moment?

I'm sure LHA will say Dark Side of the Moon here.

Has anyone heard of Kristin Chenoweth? I am presently very fond of this album: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Let-Yourself...99477&sr=301-3

Nah, he's already exposed himself as a closet Atomic Kitten fan. I reckon he is still crying into his custard tarts(reduced) about JLS splitting.

The new David Bowie album is very good, and I am not a fan of his newer stuff generally.

I agree. I just had a listen to the free clips on Amazon, and ordered it. I wonder why he released one of the weaker tracks as a single? I certainly wouldn't have bought the album based on that.

It's embarrassing how often I'm caught singing and dancing. One of my bosses theatens to covertly film me and upload me to youtube.

Sat in with Pink Floyd in green room in the '60s (knew the sound man)... but as it was the '60s I can't remember anything from then...

I drove the 100 miles to London the other week in sunshine listening to Dark Side of the Moon and eating fresh pineapple strips. Road was empty. Memorable

Most recent faves are Gerry Rafferty- Baker St (bet that is in yours Artful?)
Kinks - greatest hits - Waterloo Sunset will play at my funeral followed by Spirit in the Sky.
Who's Better whose Best - Baba O'Reilly is my ringtone.
4 Way Street - Crosby Stills
Queer as Folk (double album from the TV series)
                        Best of Free
                        Bad Company
Pink and Lady Gaga are the only recent ones for me. Such a 70's child.

I've got LHA down as a Hawkwind and Captain Beefheart freak.

While I have seen Hawkwind ( I like the Tim Blake/early 80's era) I more keen on Beefheart's partner in excess the late great FZ and that which "poots forth" from the the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen

As a struggling LL, I am on Tax Credits, not a lot but every bit counts. Eventually I'll be on UC and as a self employed person will be subject to the Minimum Income Floor (MIF). If a tenant pays early (and some do) or late (and many do) it will affect my MIF and therefore my UC entitlement.

If you are found to not be gainfully SE then you can still carry on your SE and claim UC without coming under the MIF, so that's another way people are getting around it.

I've never used a spray paint. I thought that spray paint for rads must be toptastic. I protected the area around the area in a small bathroom. should be good. Did about 6 small spray layers to prevent runs. Rad look fab. Proud of myself . Removes area protection...... Oh fab rad.... yikes.... the...

All is perfect now thanks. I had to scrubby the floor twice and it didn't take long. But I won't be using spray again! Does anyone want half a can of white radiator spray paint?...

use it all the time - remove the radiator, sheet out the garage and spray there. I never do it with the radiators in the room as the paint goes everywhere (you dont see it on the windows until the sun shines through).

DONT spray radiators outside unless you really like fly-pattern finishes...

I have had great results with the sprays. Used massive (15 foot by 15 foot) plastic sheeting to protect though.

You guys may remember I am presently re-tiling the bathroom of my first Reading rental flat which fell vacant in Feb. Since I got the place cleaned up, I have had to replace a shower head, a window handle, the hob, the dishwasher, the worktop, the bathroom boxing, and for good measure the bathroom plasterboard....

I just tried to beat my water to death but it didn't make any difference - it's still flopping around the place....
