Understand it’s her money theoretically and she’s due it back even though she owes me a lot of money, but she’ll get up to £1k back from TDS which means she’s getting £200 of my money if you look at it that way. So I just have to accept that until I go to anal claims?
It's not the claims track I'd have chosen...
When I post, I am expressing an opinion - feel free to disagree, I have been wrong before.
Please don't act on my suggestions without checking with a grown-up (ideally some kind of expert).

I have a property that I rent out and it is fully managed by Dixons.
Is it a shop selling tellies?

I am unclear how the previous tenancy ended and why the tenants could be liable for the costs of reletting when you served notice on them.
Ah, well there's the solution for anyone wanting to leave before the end of the term: Stop paying the rent, get evicted, and you save on re-letting costs.

Hi I'm in the process of lease assignment with a aga.

The lease will be due for renewal after 1 year. My question is will my aga stop once the lease is renewed?
I had no idea you could lease an Aga.

failing to pay that part of the tent that they could reasonably afford would also indicate intentional homelessness.
But is a tent really a home?

A bit off topic, but for anyone taking regular medication and is under 60, it's possible to buy a prescription pre-payment certificate, which costs £108.10 for 12 months of all the medication you normally pay £9.35 a pop for.
If you take more than one type of medication it's a real saving -...

Class 1 NIC's are compulsory. I'll certainly be drawing the state pension when I can but I could and have made far better investments elsewhere....

Only if they didn't invest it (and monitor it to make sure it's keeping on track).

If I'd invested all the money I've had to pay into state pensions, I'd be buying a Bentley at retirement age, not claiming a free bus pass....

This is especially true, given that if they DID pay into a pot just for them, then by the time they're old, the money is worthless....

You'd still get your pension because younger people are paying for it. If there wasn't "younger people" then you wouldn't get it. Even with private pensions, they can't really last past the 22nd century when the global population is set to decline. Private pension rely on growth, and when...
