Yes, they either dispute the cost of repairs or go silent.

If there's a lot of damage, it's unusual for the tenant to try and argue that there's no damage at all.
    That's my point.
It's hard to look at pictures of a bomb site and claim it's fair wear and tear with a straight face.

If the damage is relatively minor, that's when the arguments start!
When I post, I am expressing an opinion - feel free to disagree, I have been wrong before.
Please don't act on my suggestions without checking with a grown-up (ideally some kind of expert).

Err, didn't tenant already renege on his existing payment plan?

Haha, I deserve this after reading it back - As long as it's Pochettino for next United manager i'll be happy, can't believe OGS got the caretaker job and as it happens I lost some money trading on that market

Future prevention or advice to tenant needs to be given.
But apart from putting a bait to kill them, for 3 weeks and advice, what else will they do.

                  Any tips will be helpful.
Ah, no, you mustn't kill them. Maybe let them leave?

Is the Larger Home Extension Scheme definitely stopping at the end of May?
Only if her successor doesn't like it.

The other things you complain about seem quite reasonable to me.
So... is it the complaint that is reasonable, or the things that are complained about?
