A post I read today made me chuckle..
I have been to court and have been given a procession order[I]The opinions I give are simply my opinions and interpretations of what I have learnt, in numerous years as a property professional, I would not rely upon them without consulting with a paid advisor and providing them with all the relevant facts[I]

Been looking at hotel reviews on a travel forum and this posting from a Russian lady made me chuckle. I can't read it without doing a Russian accent.
"The lifegards near the swiming pool and water-slide chute sometimes are too relax . My ten years old dauther slided down on water-slide chute for children. A lifegard was there on the top of the chute but don't regulated the movement. He let a boy go down the chute before my dauther came to the chute end. Result was a strong hit to her head by the foot of slide down boy."

Well that's better than the reviews from the owners saying what a wonderful place and jolly time was had in their absolute dump
We stayed in a Hotel and Conference Centre for two nights, marked as 4 stars, and it was likely both in 1982. We checked in and didn't have lot of choice to change hotel and as I went straight to do emails & logged and posted a very derisory and truthful description eg "Suite? the only suite was the one on the pillow and that was stale" etc.
In under an hour the owner knocked on the door and sat down and actually had an honest discussion about what we thought and upgraded us to their best "cottage" -they had bungalows, and said dinner was on them, as he could not argue with what I had said.
They have changed up, but the best review at the time was " do yourself a favor and buy a tent and sleep in the car park"Based on the information posted, I offer my thoughts.Any action you then take is your liability. While commending individual effort, there is no substitute for a thorough review of documents and facts by paid for professional advisers.

My statistics for the top 3 breeds, enquiring tenants have in West Yorkshire and can't rent anywhere - Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Rottweiler. German Shepherd.
I personally don't accept pets but year after year I always get the same enquiries from different people; "he's only a small dog...-

Reply to Dog size chart for tenants ideaJK0, that sounds like an aquarium! I hope the tenant shared the proceeds of their ticket sales with you
I can empathize with both sides. I'm a tenant and would love pets, I recently asked my landlord if they minded me keeping hamsters, but they said they've had bad experiances in the...-

Reply to Dog size chart for tenants idea'Tenant has some fish'
Imagining a few goldfish in a bowl, I accepted. Turns out to be fifteen to twenty tanks in a two bedroom flat, together with all the paraphernalia for keeping them.
And Lawcruncher thinks we are cruel for not allowing pets!-

Reply to Dog size chart for tenants ideaNot dogs - but how about 2 parrots in a cage? Harmless you may think - but when the cage is against the wall with a door frame in reach the damage was considerable & I don't even want to think what the stains on the paintwork were!

It seems to me there is a lot of unconscious humour here, the latest one for me is...........
Of course I know what he means but his brain seems to be running faster than his typing
Can I suggest that we post them here when we spot them....-

I'm wondering how many of you voted for brexit and would you change your mind if you had the chance ? . I didn't vote and I still wouldn't be sure if I would choose leave or remain if we had another chance...

Reply to BrexitPerhaps, but I doubt that there will be any significant change.
It's likely that more goods from other parts of the world will come directly from other parts of the world, rather than via Europe, but we already receive goods from all over the world and it is unlikely that there will be a huge...-

Reply to BrexitDover and Folkestone will continue to be the busiest ferry ports because it is the shortest crossing to the continent, and therefore the cheapest crossing. That isn't going to change.
Other ferry crossings are already available, if there was more demand for these crossings there would already...-
