            We all know landlord/tenant relations can get a bit heated but....
            Be aware that you are only entitled to the amount of the life they have deprived you of.
            ...blimey landlord killed by tenant then taking legal action from beyond the grave....??

                            damaged chimney flashing the roof is sagging and two large rafters (maybe these are purloins?) have gaping cracks and need to be at least reinforced if not replaced. The responsibility to maintain and repair and frequent reference to every 'seven years' within the lease doc has clearly not been reinforced by the freeholder.

                              I never did a formal inspection between tenancies as I trusted them and it was 3 girls which I assumed could not be as messy.

                                If there was a water leak, would you expect the landlord to pay you, out of his own pocket for every single item that you own that was damaged
                                My tenants did recently. I might have helped them claim from the firm who caused the flood, if they hadn't reported me to the council for only allowing them five nights in a hotel! (All the owner occupiers roughed it at home.)
