Ah yes, I'm confident most landlords have had waster damage in at least one room....

Intractable problem to be sure. I wonder what possible solution might exist.

I have put a deposit down for a cat, I don’t have the cat yet.
Paying a deposit for a cat? Has the world gone mad?
Cats make enough deposits of their own. Unless this is a deposit from another cat to make the new feel at home?

Same here. Know of someone who has just paid £300 for an ordinary kitten.

                  They should be providing humidifiers
I don't think that will help a damp flat.

I don't make "profit" until all my debts incurred in buying a house, rehab, etc, are returned to me In full.
Pleased to learn that rehab is tax deductible. I have got an expensive coke habit atm.

(Given the context I wonder if 'refurb' was intended.)

Talking to these people is pointless, especially as a portion of the owners are elderly.

One hidden detail that affects landlords is that the reporting and payment of CGT has gone from a 30 day deadline to a 60 day deadline for residential property.

I noticed whilst watching the autumn budget budget speech on BBC TV, it posted £5 Bil funding was allocated to sort the cladding problem and later in the day on the News , a 4% levy will be applied to some Developers. Will this help the affected leaseholders ?

I'll get it off my chest - I'm fed-up of all the panic surrounding Global Warming / Climate Change.

I'm more pi**ed off at the forced cost to us all - when it will mean absolutely nothing.

Climate Change is real. Believe it or not, it's been happening for hundreds of millions...

Science is such that it can accurately assess the last (lets be generous) 100 years in detail, but moreso the last 50.

Prior to that, we have to view what happened across huge time periods - we cannot for instance say what happened between 1480 and 1521 with any detail at all.

The science says we're not delaying "the inevitable", humanity's contribution to climate change is so huge that reversing it should stop the problem entirely.

And, the most likely alternative view is that even if reversing the effects don't 100% correct the problem, the predicted...
