Has anyone successfully sued landlord/letting agent for damages?

I'm thinking of doing this myself - is there anyone here who can help me, who has successfully bought action (not defended) and won damages?

    Many thanks

Well I have sued a letting agent.

LOTS of tenants have, usually against landlord (but sometimes agent..). This..
      http://www.amazon.co.uk/Housing-Law-.../dp/1903307880
      - is full of fascinating cases, against landlords (council, housing association, private), against tenants etc etc ...

      e.g. Arabhalvaei v Rezaeipoor (2008, 2007), damages for harassment and disrepair, protected tenant, 1-bed flat, £180k+ (!!)

... or... Shefford v Nofax Enterprises (Acton) Ltd December 2006, Damages of 50% of rent for extensive damp, £2,750... etc etc etc

As snorkerz says, tell us what the issue is & we'd love to give you a view!! Nowt person (no names, addresses etc..) as this is a public forum & there's rules!!!
I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...
