      Yes, and cheaper ones too. Slightly reluctant to invest when this is the first time ever that there's been this type of problem. I think it's entirely down to this particular T's lifestyle. The blanket over the bedroom window is a definite first. The bedroom door faces the front door and over the front door is one of those glass panels; he's put black paper over it, I presume so that the communal hall lighting doesn't cause a faint glow around the bedroom door.
