But, not exactly a 'hot mic', it was filmed last year for an S4C documentary, so it's taken a while for the conspiracy theorists to suddenly find it sinister.

So not that odd - thank you Mrs Mug. As I say, this is not "cash is being banned / the chip we have been injected with can be used to stop our access to money". It could well be a good thing.

Had to look back to find my old post and it is a wee bit out of context here. My "it could well be a good thing" relates to a digital currency run by the government and was in response to an article posted entitled: "Rishi Sunak plans to replace our cash with official digital currency" which is not actually the case (as I said at the time I know a bit about this and won't bore you with why). It is the government backed digital currency which could be a good thing not chips being injected and cash being banned.

It's not really news, these guys were doing this years ago, they have been used for boarding passes, train tickets etc. They are just using COVID passports to drum up a little publicity.
