    Letting to Overseas NHS staff

These are Indian nurses with 4 year visas. Guarantors UK based . Would anyone have any advice to offer ?
I think their culture is different for a start

If they work for NHS, this means their income is secure and so is their rent .

The only worry for the BTL landlord is possibly a strong smell of cooking curry in the kitchen which means requiring an efficient extraction fan.

      It'll be a HMO.

At least not the terrible fumes of a roast dinner.
I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...

I've also been getting enquiries recently from medical professionals moving from overseas to work for the NHS, I've now filled a room vacancy I have coming up but my initial concern would have been COVID related, risks this may pose to current tenants, if there was a need for the 2 weeks self isolation, what issues that could pose etc. I guess the NHS must be recruiting from overseas currently to increasing staffing in hospitals given the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases.
India isn't on the travel corridor list currently so anyone moving from there will need to self-isolate for 2 weeks after entering the UK.

Ahh, that overboiled cabbage/cauliflower smell reminiscent of 'rising damp' bedsits - always says 1960's Sunday dinner to me.

I'd rather have the smell of good curry spices and incense sticks everytime.

As said, how many nurses? It may well be a HMO.
And of course you will need right to rent checks on each one.

If they're all called Nurse Joy you'll be OK because they're cousins.

I know this because I'm actually a ten year old boy who is a Pokemon fan.
