    Christmas break homework?

Anyone else noticed a number of first time posters with unusual, but not quite beyond belief, scenarios?

It's not just the unusual scenarios, it's the way that the questions are posed succinctly, with all the information required, and no rambling.
They read like student homework questions.
Genuine posters usually have to have the revelant information pulled from them like teeth.

Here's 3 from today that seem like course/homework questions (last minute homework, most new terms start tomorrow), there have been others earlier this week:

That last one in particular starts off in the second preson ('you' not 'I') and then switches to the third person ('the lady'), it's not the sort of thing you would normally do when talking about your own situation.

The 3rd one looked like poor english to me.

The first one is just odd. Some "receptionists" appear from nowhere mid story!

The shower one is odd, because most of the time elapsed must have been over Christmas.
When I post, I am expressing an opinion - feel free to disagree, I have been wrong before.
Please don't act on my suggestions without checking with a grown-up (ideally some kind of expert).

Discounting those with just an axe to grind, battering landlords is big business.

Lawyers, politicians, housing charities, local authorities, to name a few, make millions from it.

Get an intern to trawl the internet and 'find' landlords abusing no fault evictions, no DSS, no pets or whatever the flavour of the month is. Package it up as a 'case study', claim it as evidenced fact and use it to flog your product whilst sanctimoniously claiming to be working for tenants.

      Winner winner! Chicken dinner!
(Unless you're the tenant ultimately paying the price.)

Are genuine car parts not a thing any more? Any time I google for genuine citroen spares, I just get a lot of pattern parts suppliers.

Last year, in view of Brexit, I ordered a service kit for my car from such a supplier. The parts were all sent from Italy. I thought today would be ideal...

čĄú and now my son has pointed out I should be talking about fractions!

Artful, my son paid quarterly for a 9 month period.

When he goes back in September, he will be renting for the full year and I'm not sure how often he will pay.

So many agents for student lets have rent payable 4monthly (approx per term). Unwise IMHO is no s8g8 for 4monthly.

Was 4monthly what you were referring to Claymore please?
