      Same as previous. Proportional representation must be literally that. The muddled preference voting was part of Lib Dem capitulating to Conservatives. It was, in my view, sensibly rejected as a weakened change for the sake of it.

            Thanks for the interesting link. For me it is Party List with districts ( as used by 85 countries, info from the link.
            For me that would mean every vote counts because it contributes to the number of seats allocated.
            Other forms, for me, are tinkering which is why I will never forget Lib Dem failure to make Party List referendum a red line for coalition.. Now it is true to say people voted to keep first past post when presented with limitations of alternative. choice.

              oh crumbs...good job we Brexiteers have a great sense of humour! Love the biscuit party - it has a more credible set of policies than Labour that is for sure!
