      Note the story is based on a 'claim' from the Conservatives- the party that still allows council house sales, still lets dangerous cladding on high rise buildings (banned in Scotland in 2007) whilst the Scottish Government build 10 times more council / HA homes than per person than they do south of the border.

          You can't evict tenants in Scotland using a Section 8 notice anyway. Section 8 notices are for England and Wales.
