Fire Door Compliance Letter Template

Hello, I was wondering if there is a templated letter available that I could use to send leaseholders in our building asking them to ensure their doors which lead onto the communal area meet fire regs?

I live in a share of freehold house and we self manage.

Oh we had this in our building a few years ago.

The Fire Risk Assessment said all of the individual Flat Doors onto the communal staircase should be fire doors.

One of the leaseholders said "why should I incur expense for a fire door, when the risk of fire in my flat is minimal?" and I said " because people live above you, and you are doing your part to ensure their safety".

We just did it on peer pressure and doing "what is right" for those above you.

It's quite a difficult area.

In spite of the grenfell disaster it does not seem easier to get leaseholders to put in fire doors.
The local authority used to have fire officers but the new system is vague and seems to depend on the terms of the lease and who owns the front doors.
We even have some upvc front doors which must be wrong.
