Fire consultant needed - east midlands listed building - any recommendations?

I am looking for a fire consultant to produce a fire strategy report for a development I am undertaking. It is a listed building (which adds some complexity as there are some internal doors which can't be replaced by fire doors) and it would require a site visit in Nottingham. Can anyone recommend anyone who might be suitable? Feel free to DM me if you'd prefer not to mention someone on the thread.

If an appliance has been wired in a wholly unsuitable manner that has been deemed "unsafe", thus making it a potential safety hazard, what particular regulations would be applicable? There appears to be some overlap here, such as the General Product Safety Regs, Electrical Equipment Safety...

I got your PM, I won't quote any of it here because forum rules don't allow that.

TBH you could have posted it here in open view, it doesn't contain anything that couldn't have been said here.

You should talk to a litigation solicitor, they will know or will look up the relevant...

A new tenant moved in on 2nd August. I video recorded opening readings, and also entered them on tenancy agreement. Later that day I went online & entered the opening readings for my tenant. They sent me a bill using completely different readings, effectively charging me for my tenant's energy until...

Thank you for the suggestion and if my new set of readings are not accepted which I will send in a couple of weeks time then I will go down this route. They will not reply to the complaint so Ombudsman it will be I suspect! Thanks again all....

So I assume from what you say there that you are looking for some kind of compensation for living in an unsafe situation?

If that is the intention then it would have been easier to say that, and get answers about that.

I would like to know which regulations were breached in this instance. It is clear that the installation was unsafe and it is also clear that to provide an appliance that poses a safety risk is not acceptable. That the appliance has been removed does not make the provision of said unsafe appliance ...

Your quote from The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 is refering to the required protection of the circuit from a fault/overload condition.

That is, it's talking about the protection provided by the consumer unit.

You are still being evasive on why you want this...

Yes you do by making the complaint to the company, they then have x number of weeks to deal with it to your satisfaction, when the x weeks have passed you go to the ombudsman. The system does work. You do realise that everytime a complaint goes to the ombudsman they are charged? It was £500 but may...

Apologies. As previously stated, I do not require any further assistance on the technical aspect of the installation. I mentioned the 4mm requirement in a previous post.

The query is which regulations would be relevant regarding the provision of an unsafe appliance. The title should have...
