by LesleyAnneHi All, not posted here for a number for years, so hello again to those who may have helped me before ...
I have had my BTL flat for 20 years now, and feel the time is right for me to release the capital and sell on. I currently have an excellent tenant, who is an elderly single guy so...-

Reply to Finding a County Court Bailiffjpkeates I did wonder (out loud) whether the agent was getting their wires crossed on the rent increase notice period. I’m not intending to re-let the two houses that are tenanted, so once the tenants leave the agent’s job here will be finished.
Raising the rent was just an idea really - with...-

Hi,
I have a possession order following a S21 eviction. I'm still awaiting my solicitor gaining a warrant of possession to allow bailiffs to evict (at some point in the future - I'm not holding my breath for Feb 21st...)
I should probably be talking to a county court bailiff to 'get in the...-

Previously, when selling a property, I moved the existing tenants into another of my properties. However,...-

Reply to Finding a County Court BailiffPerce Thankyou for your advice. I gave the court a call and they were perfectly nice. My solicitor issued the warrant application on 15th Dec, and according to the person I spoke to it was granted on 15th Dec😀. You know more about the workings of these courts than my solicitor, which is slightly...

by Emtee100Thanks. I have wondered, though I was originally living there with the lodger, it's years since I've spent a night.
Perhaps we have too much trust. He's offered this to me and I realise I could do so. We will need to value the cost of the build and come to a sliding agreement. ...-

by Emtee100Neighbour offers to redevelop garage and part use
I have a lodger with a contract in my home. While I have an internal room that I keep the reality is a stay elsewhere with my long-term partner.
There is an old leaky garage that I use for some storage. My neighbour has offered to...-

by jpkeatesYour "lodger" is probably a tenant.
The garage idea would need a proper formal solicitor created agreement to protect both of you.
Your neighbour could rebuild the garage and you could lock them out of it the next day.-
