by lordluvusThe girl works in HM service with good ref and actually always paid her half, her dopey partner, was newly self employed and has a guarantor. (family member). Tenant got pregnant but has always paid her half, if sometimes late. Now they have a 1 yr old baby boy. This month she has paid 60% but the rest...

Reply to Future Issues for LL and TenantsIt seems so easy to just say up and leave for another area of the country.
We assume that the person is 100% working remotely, when that might not be the case.
We assume that the industry to which the person is trained has work near their new location
We assume...-

by Hudson01Looking at the news today (similar to yesterday and the day before), they are talking about combined energy bills of 4-5k a year...... by April 2023. There are many properties up north where the combined rental per annum is between 6-7k....... that is insane.

It's not possible to forsee how much prices will rise or what help...-

by NaomiBThe Section 21 notice I served said "you are required to leave the below address after 18 April, 2022" so DoricPixie is right. It's just a notice to quit and the start of the process. So your Section 21 can be ignored by your tenant. Don't place any high hopes on it.
He isn't...-

by lordluvusBy all accounts, just reading on here, many landlords ARE leaving the sector especially with the EPC must be "C" rating, just added to the many hoops to jump through. Favourable rights to tenants on the increase defending a "dont pay if you dont want to" attitude pushed by Shelter...

Reply to Gas Central Heating Included in Rentby bob369The central heating is included in the rent.
