There are companies who advertise in the Sunday papers who will buy tenanted property at 85 to 90% of vacant value. Is that worth investigating?

I have been renting out my only property for the last few years whilst working abroad and now wish to sell my property. The tenants have always been made aware that at any time we may have to give them 2 months notice due to job uncertainty and would then move back into the property and /or put it up...

What would you do if you were not getting rent, could not evict the tenant and had no money to pay service charges. You cannot sell the flat with unpaying tenant. The management company should give maintenance charges holiday to the owners. Even banks give it. Would you be happy to be made bankrupt?...

I have a quick question about a landlord who is renting 1 of the flats out but is paying 6 months in arrears for maintenance charges, when the deeds do state payment in advance. Sounds ok, i gather the company is Ltd ? If so then i am unsure why either director would need to be a resident, the business of the company is to manage the work needed to be done to the properties, being a good director is more important than owning one of the flats/properties etc.

We have 2 directors, 1 is a resident and is 1 a non-resident, is this permitted? As the non-resident has no vested interest.

2 bathrooms in a 2 bed is a new one on me (but I can see the appeal personally).

Here's an odd one: My best flat in Reading fell vacant at end of April, and has now been to let for 2 weeks. My agent suggested £1050, which we got last July, but I said £1000. Yesterday one of agent's flunkies rang and suggested a further reduction due to 'other properties coming on the market'....

I think you may be over optimistic on how this could go, if they do leave on the date you have given then count your lucky stars...... if they do not, then you are in for a long battle. I would stop asking them about viewings as this may just make them dig their heels in more and you could come off...

Oh, it's not that there's no parking at the 2nd. Just there's no remote controlled gate to stop all & sundry using it.

The woman told me there were viewings booked but they cancelled....
