    If they're renting in England or Wales on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement, yes you do.

    No, you don't have to: As long as you are happy for them to be able to sue you for up to 3xdeposit & that any s21 would be invalid unless you returned it first....

    What makes you so confident they will go in 3 months time?? I'd not bank on tenants leaving at end of fixed term...

    Hello this is my first time to go on any Forums so I may get things a bit wrong......

    My question is do I have to put my tenants deposit into the TDS if they are only going to stay for 3 months?
    I can't seem to be able to find this answer anywhere.
