Tenant's boyfriend's rights re her tenancy

I am about to buy a flat that my boyfriend will move in with me. The flat will be in my name, as is the mortgage.

Whilst it is currently all roses I need to protect myself (and my parents' investment in the property) should anything go wrong.

Are there any occasions when he would gain rights to the property (such as squatters rights??) and would a tennancy agreement be enough to cover me in this matter.

He's totally calm about the option of having a contract!!

Just allow him a licence to lodge, that way you can just kick him out if he doesn't do the dishes

As for any other rights you may or may not allow your boyfriend, well that is down to you!

Is there already a Trust Deed between you [owner] and your parents [beneficiaries] to protect their stake in value invested? There ought to be, so get it done asap. If you/they agree division of all 100%, there's nothing left for boyfriend in any event!

There is a "living together" agreement you can download from the internet. It has been upheld in court too.
