    Blocking outgoing calls Help!

    Hello,

I rang sky to ask if when i joined their broadband could I block outgoing calls. I was told they can cap it at £1 per month.

I joined the broadband and it now turns out I can't do that. They said I can cancel the contract as it hasn't gone live yet.

Is blocking outgoing calls a big concern/do many people abuse the phone. I wont be putting a phone in, but there's nothing stopping them connecting one.

If so, does anyone know of a way to do this?

    Thanks.

£5 says your Sky bb contract doesn't permit usage in tenanted property by tenants.

The cynical will suggest if they can they will. I have virgin (BL+dy beardie...) BB & TV in a sstudent house but not 'phone for that reason.
I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...

Well I mentioned multiple times that it was a tenanted property and they didn't bring it up.

I see virgin can block them. They are £4 a month more and I don't get a £100 M&S voucher but it may work out cheaper if they don't run the phone up.

If I put in the future AST's that all phone costs not covered by the base fee are to be paid by tenants. Is this enforceable if they are 4 tenants on separate AST's?
