The property I have rented since mid-January has had problems with the water and heating since I moved in.
Three corgi guys have now been round and said that the water heating unit needs to be replaced some also suggest boiler too. All said it would be a three day job with no heating or water during that time.
What do landlords normally do for tennants during this time? Do they offer them the three days rent free? Do they guarantee that in the event of damage to my things they will replace?
Or is it assumed that the upheaval is normal?
Apparently the previous person complained about it but nothing was done - although in fairness, I don't think it had reached the point where it was cutting out every day and needing to be reset each day to work.
Thanks for any advice.
