How long to find tenant who's done a runner?

They are saying it will take 8 weeks for this particular person.

I am surprised at this because it's been a long time since they left theproperty and they must have left a papertrail by now.

Are you saying that it takes them 8 weeks to trace a person, or that this particular person will take 8 weeks to find.

Can anyone recommend a company to search for a tenant who's done a runner?

How long did it take to find them?

I've used a wellknown tracing agency and they say it'll be 8 weeks. I think this is a long time. The T still lives in the area (I've an idea which road it is), I am able to give 2 previous addresses. She has school age children, rents a council house, claims benefits, has a phone, and is on FB. The T left the property over 7 months ago.

Can anyone tell me how these agencies work and why this particular T might be so difficult to trace?
