If I give notice (2 month) by recorded delivery to my landlord, does that do it for me? I have a confirmed 'electronic' receipt, but it was not him who signed it it seems. What if someone else signed, and he later says to have never received it? Would I need to stay for longer, having unknowingly passed my agreed 2 month notice period? Who would take responsibility?
It just worries me a little as he would have had a week by now to respond to my notice, which may have come out of the blue to him; we (mutually?) avoid corresponding for different reasons, and I have lost all faith in him recently...it may turn out for him to become my second 'landlord from hell' (they do exist, rest assured
