Just to clarify Berlingogirl's post, you can type it, but if you type the whole thing (ie not just fill in the boxes on a template) then if must be laid out in the format prescribed by statute.
When we serve them it is 2 copies to the tenant, a signed copy to the landlord and an electronic copy too so they can print off as many as desired.

You can type it and sign the bottom. It needs to be in black ink for photocopying.
Yes, you will need 3 copies, not just of the form but any paperwork you rely on as evidence e.g. rent statement.

Section 8 notice of possession form
Can i type the form and sign the bottom or does the whole form need to be handwritten ? the form says 'write clearly using black ink'
And some web sites say i need 3 copies, is that 1 for them, 1 for me, and 1 for the court ?

Spend £3 with gov.uk land registry and get deeds which will get owner name and address then communicate directly
Agree with above advice
Agent probably wants new agreement signed so they charge landlord fees....-

I’m a tenant facing a sharp rent increase and in need of advice.
I have a good landlord who agreed to a rent reduction last year because of ongoing maintenance issues and lower market values. However, I can only communicate with them through an agency.
Approaching the end...-

by jpucng62The S21 threat is just that - no LL wants to go through that process to evict a good tenant and it maybe the agent who is behind this. However, market rents have shot up over the last year. I think you should try to negotiate.
Your LL seems decent, having given you a rent reduction last...-

by jpkeatesYou can counter claim for compensation to offset the rent owed in a Section 8 claim.
But a claim for compensation for PTSD triggered by a dispute about an electricity bill and subsequent harassment is going to be tough to argue in what’s likely to be a 15 minute property court hearing.

by jpkeatesI’d propose an increase in line with the contract term.
And don’t sign a new agreement, just let the current agreement roll into a periodic tenancy.-

Reply to Is my estate agent misleading me?by jpkeatesIf you’ve paid them for a service they are refusing to provide, yes.
I’d start by invoicing the tenant company for the damage though.
You have two separate claims and it’s unlikely that the agent would bust a gut to do the job you want them to do....-

by abimsalabimI am a Landlord and I have a company tenancy which has now come to an end. I did a check-in inventory before the tenant moved in and I have done a check-out inventory now that they have moved out, and there are damages to my property by the tenant. The deposit is being held by the agent and is not in...

Reply to Section 21 During Contract Periodby jpkeatesCorrect. If your tenancy began on 9th December, they’re a day early.
I think you should check that again.
Note that the notice doesn’t bring the tenancy to an end, so you can issue your own notice after the fixed term ends, or simply leave before the end of the fixed term, if...-
