County Court Official Close Dates

Hi Guys

Hoping someone can help.

Received a notice of issue from the county court following the submission of a a n5b form, giving tenant 14 days from service to file a defence.

Date of service was 19 December.

Can anyone advise when these 14 days will be up, as I am not sure what days would be counted as official Christmas holidays. Tried looking up the county court but only seems to give opening times, no mention of Christmas shutdown.

The notice period has nothing to do with when the courts decide to close (as far as I know); therefore you just need to consider the three official bank holidays (25-26 Dec and 1 Jan) as being extra non-working days.

Assuming the notice period is actually working days, of course.., without looking at the paperwork I don't know.
