I have I inherited a few after I had bought repossessed properties, they were clearly installed due to arrears I'm the past. They are more expensive than some of the cheaper deals, on saying that my tenants have never requested they be changed back. Eon were the provider in my case, however
If you contact your existing utility provider and request a change they may charge you to replace the meter. I am told on threatening to move elsewhere the charge may be waived!

Not sure how you deem success !

Why are you looking to install these? Utility bills in the name of the tenant, with meter readings given at start and end of the tenancy means tenant is liable for all supplies used.

Do you mean card meters that the utility companies install, or ones that the landlord installs, and then sell the cards?
Allow tenants to protect their own deposits. I want free money when they do it wrong
