Royal Mail Redirects 2 YR Expiry

    Dear All,

I have had a mail redirect setup with Royal Mail for the past two years which has been working fine; unfortunately I have reached the maximum time allowed for the redirect.
Currently have some new tenants moving in and do not really want any mail been posted to that property - is there any alternative to Royal Mail?

Maybe a straight forward answer to this but don’t ask you don’t get!

    Thanks

No alternative but to tell everyone where you live.

After 2 years surely there would be very little legitimate mail going to your tenanted property anyway. I appreciate junk mail tends to perpetuate itself for years!

Have you contacted all official bodies to give your new address details? If so, what is your concern?

I use a PO Box number for all my mail and tenant correspondence. Not all that expensive either.

Yes, but that means TELLING everyone of your new address.
P.O. boxes 3 years ago was £50, but just renewed mine at £ 170
i seem to remember the cost was.

If criminals want to hide their true address, then get mail redirected.

The Royal mail will therefore put a limit of 2 years on redirection, to
          help prevent crime.

          R.a.M.
