Yes see... (as I understand it..)

Requirement to display registered name at registered office and inspection place3.—
    (1) A company shall display its registered name at—
    (a)its registered office; and
    (b)any inspection place.
    (2) But paragraph (1) does not apply to any company which has at all times since its incorporation been dormant.
However whilst, say, the HQ's of large corporates often have long boards listing all their names & subsidiaries, in my experience Mr Dodgy Landlords (Properties) 2011 usually doesn't bother.

You might ask your accountant what they do...
    See also section 5...

Manner of display of registered name5.—
    (1) This regulation applies where a company is required to display its registered name at any office, place or location.
    (2) The registered name shall be so positioned that it may be easily seen by any visitor to that office, place or location.
    (3) The registered name shall be displayed continuously but where any such office, place or location is shared by six or more companies, each such company is only required to display its registered name for at least fifteen continuous seconds at least once in every three minutes.
Section 4 says not required if registered premises primarily used for living accommodation..
I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...
