It makes no difference whatsoever. With an eviction it is you who will be relying on the tenancy agreement, not the tenant.

Just bear in mind that the mere fact that the contract (i.e the paper) is lost does not mean the contract (i.e the agreement) is no longer in force.Comment

Not sure anyone can provide much more feedback until you gets answers from the landlord.
With the pipe tight in against a stud they may have needed to open up further to find the fixings that allow them to loosen the pipe sufficiently to get a repair joint on. Looks like an awkward plasterboard...26-05-2022, 08:46 AM -
I moved out of a flat a few days ago. While I was in the flat there was a leak due to a punctured pipe in a wall cavity that the landlord is claiming a deduction from our deposit for repairing.

We have literally just relet our bungalow. What is being described is not a contractual periodic tenancy, because in a contractual periodic tenancy the terms relating to ending the tenancy remain in force.
