    what is the position when;

    - no written ast
    - possession required
    - s21 notice validly served based on dates payments are due following verbal agrement

    ?

    i know you can't use accelarated procedure, so do you just use the usual N5 form and tick 'other' as your reason for possession. are there prescribed particulars of claim?

    s21 dates should be based on tenancy periods not payment dates.
    If T moved in on 21/1/11 and paid monthly, then periods run from 21st to 20th of each month.

    Can't answer your real question, but pending an answer from someone with experience, I would select 'other' and in the particulars state that the landlord requires possession under section 21(4)(a) of the 1988 Housing Act.
