Yes. Until you are given notice and have been supplied with your current landlord's authority to pay rent to the new landlord, keep paying rent as you do now and assume there has been no change.
If in doubt, come back and ask.

Possibly being v stupid here with this question, but could someone tell me whether or not, if the landlord changes when a flat gets sold,does a new tenancy agreement have to be issued or deposit scheme changed? No. I understand that all the terms should remain the same though. Confirmed. The deposit is being held by the agent and the rent is paid to the agent. Is it ok for the previous ll's name to still appear on the AST? Yes.
Does a tenant need to be told if a freeholder changes too? Yes.

My kid has a tenancy which includes Council Tax and Energy as part of the rent. Her rent has gone up a lot as a result of increased cost of these inclusions.
