    Recommendation for a solicitor

Can anyone recommend a solicitor in the Croydon area who has experience of claiming compensation for disrepair and breach of contract by a landlord.

    Many thanks

Try local Law Society, public library, or CAB.

      Thanks Jeffrey,

It wasn't a list of possible solicitors that I was after but rather some that individuals on here could recommend.

The Law Society site I have found to be spectacularly useless as the information seems to frequently wrong or out of date - previously the first 5 that I called who were listed on the Law Society as covering Landlord & Tenant dont actually specialise in it!

Maybe you could elaborate. I'm a landlord defending myself from a tenant and the truth is not always easy

            Thanks Westminster.

Emericonline, I have previously posted about the issues I have with my landlord not carrying out repairs and am now in the process of starting formal legal action and have nothing further to add here.
I'm unsure what you mean by your comment "the truth is not always easy"
