Relax. We all of us post what some others might think are not as useful as they might be posts, not saying that this is the case here.

And in any case, sometimes, being "lovely" can be a factor in determining behaviour.

    Have a good weekend all.

Definately uncalled for. Jeffrey spends a lot of time giving FREE advice to many on this site including myself and is appreciated despite the sarcastic comments at times!
Completely agree: No need for unpleasantness, the advice on this forum is invaluable, I have learnt a huge amount from many posters, Jeffrey in particular.

I don't always agree with everything posted by all posters, but a bit of tolerance & fair play perhaps?? Thought that was a British bedrock of behaviour.....

    Cheers!

I am legally unqualified: If you need to rely on advice check it with a suitable authority - eg a solicitor specialising in landlord/tenant law...

Moderator, please remove # 13 (personally abusive).

How convenient that if #13 is removed, #14 will move up into 13th place - by the same poster! While that post isn't offensive, it is another wasteful posting that he's prone to post.
He reminds me of the scrawny kid in the back of classrooms who would tell you his opinion whether you asked or not, but had no friends or life.

I think HL is simply jealous of Jeffrey and his deep well of knowledge. Human nature is a strange thing.

Well, I'm jealous of Jeffrey's knowledge etc. as I am jealous of (eg Lakshmi Mitttal's billions or younger folk's health... but hopefully don't spend time whinging & whining about it, but revel in my own good fortune & opportunities..

            'corse, your assuming with "human........"....

              You think wrong IG.

I just hate nit picking from people who should know better and who are ostensibly above weazly and heckling behaviour.

Jeffrey isn't a saint nor beyond criticism and we should not behave like he is.

No, it just means that the Moderator has not removed it yet. The fact that it has not happened already is regrettable, as it gives the impression to newcomers to the site that it's acceptable to post this kind of moronic/small-minded unpleasantness, when it is not, but let's hope it is removed.

Re your earlier 'defence' of your abuse (#23): please grow up. If you don't like your grammar/vocabulary/spelling being 'nit-picked' as you put it, then ignore it. Nobody has said jeffrey is a saint, but there is simply no need to be personally nasty and abusive about anyone. That is why your post was reported and why (I hope) it will be removed, as all your other vicious and obnoxious posts have been.

One wonders what law you're actually practicing seeing as you spend most of the day on this site.
Alternatively: this one (I) wonders what that one (you) gains by your post. You remind me of a saddo. Get a life!

I did not say he was and do not think anyone beyond criticism! (Though he may be saint-like in "real" life, who knows?) If you can't take Jeffrey as he is then, in my best Manc accent "tough". He won't change. And the more he knows it annoys you the more he will do it to you (see above)!

True. And that is his prerogative, irritating as some people may find it. In the end, if you find that the contributors to a forum irritate you, you have two choices, don't you : put up with it, or go elsewhere. Personally abusing them is not however an option!

I suspect that a psychologist would have a field day analysing HL's abuse and may well come to the conclusion that it reveals a crippling sense of insecurity/inadequacy.
