Following on from lettings agent mismanagement thread..
I am tentatively, looking at self managing my property & discussing this directly with the tenant who appears to be settled.
I have a local gas safe and electrical contractor on hand.
My sister will act as my immediate contact point in case of emergency.
What key steps do i need to take to self manage my property?
specifically: 1. setting up a recognised rental agreement?
2. organising tenancy deposit scheme.
Any decent advice really welcome.
