    warrant for possession

    hi

i've been granted possession and applying for a warrant

part 4 asks for the following details
    - balance due at date of request
    - amount for which warrant to issue
    - issue fee
    - solicitors costs
    - land registry free
    TOTAL

do i need to fill these in? all i want is possession?

the cost is £95 i think, do i need to add this anywhere?

You don't have to. However its wise to do so as you are then taking a legal step of saying how much the tenant now owes you.
    Either way, you get possession

      thanks ollie

so i dont need to add the issue cost of £95 either?

i got possession yest from the judge and he told me i could apply for a warrant today

i went in and they said the judges order hasnt been scanned on to the system yet and i had to wait up to 5 days before applying for a warrant

is this correct on there part?

You will have to pay for a Bailiff's Warrant to evict your tenants if they fail to leave voluntarily once you have the Possession Order if that's what you are referring to?
The advice I give should not be construed as a definitive answer, and is without prejudice or liability. You are advised to consult a specialist solicitor or other person of equal legal standing.

nope thats not what i meant

the judge gave the order and judgement to commence straight away

i went into the court with my warrant form the next day and £95 and they turned me away, stating that it wasnt on the system and they couldnt process it - they told me to give it a few days and come back

is this the correct procedure that they followed? or could they have processed it there and then?
