    signing AST

    Hi

I am in the process of getting my property rented out and the letting agents ( will also be managing it) have said they will sign the AST on my behalf-is this usual practice?
    thanks

Often yes- although it's not one that I endorse and somewhat smacks of Letting Agents too large for their outdoor footwear.
As you're the boss (principal) and they're mere contractors (agents), you can dictate to them [not vice-versa!] who does what.
