S48 Notice - change of address

    Hello
I'm a landlady and I've moved. Is it ok for me to email my tenants my change of address? Is it sufficient to put in the subject box of the email S48 Notice - change of landlord address and then just let them know my new address?

    Kind regards
    P

Providing you get an acknowledgement to the e-mail stating they have read it and note your new address for service of Notices. They could also print it off and sign it and return it to you.
The advice I give should not be construed as a definitive answer, and is without prejudice or liability. You are advised to consult a specialist solicitor or other person of equal legal standing.

Whilst Paul_f is correct, I'd nevertheless recommend sending a hard-copy signed s.48 Notice in duplicate (= one for T to keep; one for T to countersign/return).
