  • Section 21 - Correct Way to Issue - HELP!

    We have issued a letter to our tenant giving well over the reqired 2 months notice but not used an official Section 21 form.

    I have just checked out the sample on Oyez and we have included all the information as per the document but in a letter format.

    Is this sufficient or am I going to have to start the process again, meaning we can't get the tenant out until June instead of May now!!!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    There is no specific form of Notice- no Statutory Instrument prescribes any mandatory text- but it must meet the requirrements of s.21.

        If you go to the home page of this site you can download most forms for free including S.21.
