  • Advice please bad paying Tenants

    I posted a question earlier on in the month re bad paying tenants. They are in arrears to the amount of £300 this month, with another £1000 due on the 1st of Feb.

    They have not returned calls or texts, so I hand posted a letter stating that if the arrears plus the rent for February are not paid in full by close of business 2nd of Feb, I will serve a section 8 on two counts of late payment of rent and arrears on more than 2 occasions.

    Once the Section 8 has been served how long is it before I can evict them?

    Your advice would be welcomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        Note: The rent should amount to 2 months unpaid, and NOT 2 months in arrears if you want to use S.8 Ground 8.
