    Retirement Homes to Let

    Hi Folks,

Spoke to a landlord today who wants to rent out a retirement home... The Home's minimum criteria for the lease agreement is 2 years as they do not want the residents to be disturbed with new tenants coming and going every 6 months. Out of curiosity, should the agreement be an assured tenancy or an AST? I would imagine that as it is a retirement property, the tenant would want a little more re-assurance that they can be in the property for more than 3 years and have an agreement that is a little more secure than an AST? Any recommendations from anyone who has dealt with letting a retirement apartment would be appreciated!

    Thanks
