I really like where I'm living as a rental tennant but there's an ongoing condensation issue in the bathroom. What's the best way to deal with it before escalating it?

There may be an underlying issue, such as the grout in the bathroom may need redoing if it is cracked and allowing moisture to get in. Do not wipe it, as it will only spread further, you need to use something like a mould remover spray you can buy HG do a good one, as well as get a dehumidifier in there and use it after each shower/bath.

by KomodoThanks for both of your replies. I have some follow up questions, for clarification, if that is OK.
Thank you. I think this would mean simply writing to them and suggesting the new rent (probably along with suggesting that the rent due date is aligned with the rental period...-

Long story, short.
AST was drafted with a tenancy start and rental payment date of the 22nd, but the start date was moved to the 23rd (my fault) but...-

by Hudson01Looking at the news today (similar to yesterday and the day before), they are talking about combined energy bills of 4-5k a year...... by April 2023. There are many properties up north where the combined rental per annum is between 6-7k....... that is insane.
Could we have a situation...-

by ash72I would suggest the informal approach before serving this notice to the T, if they start paying they agreed to the rent increase.

Reply to Letting out flat with WIFI includedby ash72If your thinking only for a short term, suggest you keep it empty then have a T live there and then the months and cost of getting possession back.
If you having it furnished, just remember T's will not look after your possessions and will not care too much about it. Hence why I always...-

by SaladboyHi All,
since I plan to move in with my partner and rent out my 1 bedroom, would you suggest a short term (like airbnb or similar) or a traditional 6m/1y contract rent? I’d not move the furniture so it would be furnished, and internet will be included since I’m under contract.
