Joint named bills without joint tenancy agreement

    Hi folks

For wanting all utility bills in joint name such as water, council tax, electric and gas should the tenancy agreement be in joint names? If yes then for doing so should both of the persons necessarily be needed of working??

The two issues are independent. If you want to create joint liabilities in utility bills at a sole tenant location, or vise versa, that's fine.

But the service providers won't want the both persons on tenancy agreement

No, they have no interest in who's on the agreement.
