I issued the PI when I transferred the deposit. As this was over 6 years ago can the T still claim ? I delivered the PI by hand.

You probably failed to issue PI for new tenancy, which would allow T to claim.

There was no deposit deposit transfer problem - you just did not transfer it?

    Deposit transfer problem

My T rented property A and paid a deposit, all paperwork done etc. Then T moved to property B. I didn't return the deposit to them but left it in the DPS in the old address and eventually transferred it months later.

I am now evicting the T. Can they make a claim against me because I didn't transfer the deposit to the new address? I t was in the DPS all the time.

I don't seem to be able to find expired tenancies on the DPS website or anything that confirms I transferred the deposit. It looks like I didn't put the deposit in the DPS for months.
